Bruce Cave Tour

Ages:  6-12 years old

Time: 2 hours

The Bruce Cave Tour is great for kids who want an adventure.  Depending on parents’ goals, we can do themed parties.  In the past we have done a dinosaur theme where kids find dinosaur eggs in the caves filled with candy, or an Indiana Jones theme where we placed animal skulls and bones in the caves for children to find.  If you have an idea, we can most likely make it come true.

We start with high energy fun cooperative games, then we break for snack/cake.  At this point our staff can go stash party themed treasures for kids to find in the caves.  After the snack our staff will lead the group to the caves and lead the children through a number of tunnels that are very well hidden and hard to find.    Tell the kids to wear clothes they are allowed to get dirty, because this adventure can get messy.  

CAVE TOUR EXTREME

Ages: 9 – 13 years old

Time:  3 hours

Location: 45mins East of Owen Sound, ON

Cost:   6 or less kids = $250 (For each additional child it is $35)

This cave tour is not for the average kid.  This birthday tour is taken right out of our specialized Adventure Camp.  Kids get rigged up in harnesses, helmets and headlamps; and then get lowered into the caves (down to 70ft).  Once down our highly trained guides leads the group through the network of caves and tunnels until we exit at the bottom of the Niagara Escarpment.  Each of the caves we explore take approximately an hour to go through.    One of the caves has an underground stream that runs through it, and ice that lasts until mid summer.    This is a truly amazing experience that your son or daughter will never forget. 

Rock Climbing

Ages: 9-13 years old

Time:  3 hours

Location: 45mins East of Owen Sound, ON

Cost:   6 or less kids = $250 (For each additional child it is $35)

Your son or daughters’ friends will be talking about this birthday party for years to come.   Kids get harnessed up and fitted with helmets.  They then get a chance to try climbing some of the best rock on the Niagara Escarpment.      Our trained climbing instructors with clip them into the ropes and coach them while belaying them up the wall.    The pictures from this birthday party will say it all. 

Paddling the Syd!  

Ages: 6-13 years old

Time:  2 hours

Location: Harrison Park, Owen Sound, ON

Cost:   8 or less kids = $150 (For each additional child it is $15)

Step into history, and on board the historical Voyageur Canoe!   This is a 15-person canoe that is very stable and provides a great opportunity to see the city of Owen Sound from a different view.   In this tour, children get fitted in life jackets and board the voyageur at the West Side Boat Launch in Owen Sound.   One of our paddling guides will instruct the group on proper paddling technique, and share historical entertaining stories while cruising up the Sydenham to the Mill Dam.  Once there the vessel will turn around and (depending on water conditions) head to the where the Owen Sound harbour opens up before heading back to the boat launch.
